The SIP Disc Alp range of mowers are specially designed for the farmer or smaller contractor looking for a simple, reliable mower and easy to maintain mower at the best price.
They are a disc mower with a welded cutter bar with no inner skid and separate spring relief of the inner and outer side of cutter bar for even flotation.
SIP Disc S Alp side mower ensures excellent mowing on extremely sloped terrain. The light yet robust construction and professional cutter bar ensure excellent ground contour following.
The main attributes of Disc Alp mower are easy handling, easy transport and easy maintenance. With “Towards Centre” rotation of the discs this facilitates a narrower swath ideal for silage and topping in front of the herd. These hay and silage mowers work great for the smaller user.

Dual Spring Suspension
The double-spring suspension means the mower follows the ground contour much better than with a single spring, as the inner spring supports the heel of the cutter bar while the outer spring supports the other end.
No Inner Skid
Reduces scalping and blocking up of mower, as well as a full width cutter bar
DDSS (Disc Drive Safety System)
All SIP mowers have a shear-pin system that prevents damage to the gears in the cutter bar in case of overload. The system – three brass shear pins on an intermediate flange – is designed to allow the pins to be changed quickly and easily, minimising downtime.
Quick Change Blades
Mowing blades are held in place with a spring plate and can be changed quickly in the field.
Disc Rotation Towards The Centre
A narrower windrow is created by the disc rotation towards the centre. This also makes it easier to mow downhill on steep slopes.
Specially Designed Cutter Bar
A welded cutter bar with specially shaped discs ensures efficient and fast forage flow through the cutter bar.
