RaniSilO2 is 100x more efficient at keeping out oxygen compared to a conventional silage covers. Protection against oxygen keeps the respiratory losses of silage to a minimum which prevents the growth of unwanted bacteria, mould & mycotoxins which can lead to a decrease in forage quality.

Oxygen barrier silage covers significantly reduce the dry matter losses in the top portion of silage stacks. Research has shown that dry matter intake is the single most important factor affecting milk production, feed costs and ultimately profitability.

RaniSilO2 can be used as a single film, which makes covering the silage stack much easier and less time consuming. The silage cover is also slightly softer than conventional silage stack covers, making it easier to cover silage stacks & allows the silage cover to easily mould to the shape of the silage stack.
