The Comet Spray Pump BP171 is a semi-hydraulic, four-diaphragm low-pressure pump engineered for medium to large agricultural sprayers. Delivering up to 168 L/min at 20 bar (290 PSI), it is ideal for 1000–2000 litre sprayers used for boom spraying, liquid fertiliser application, and broadacre coverage.
Parts in contact with the spray liquid are made in plastic material and plastic-coated aluminium, providing long-lasting resistance to agricultural chemicals. The BP171 features a large oil bath crankcase, pressure accumulator, and a 6-spline PTO shaft for direct tractor drive.
With Desmopan diaphragms, self-priming capability, and the ability to run dry, this model delivers reliable, consistent performance across demanding spraying conditions.
