Depending on which part of the country you’re in, maize harvest season is either drawing to a close, or just getting underway, which means the weather is going to have an increasing influence on your farming or contracting operation.
Muddy farm tracks and laneways can cause issues with tractors and trailers transferring dirty deposits on feedpads or loading bays, as well as on local roads or highways, which can prove hazardous to road users, as well as causing problems for local authorities.
Tracking too much dirt and muddy residue out onto the roads may require your local council to send out a clean-up crew and, if that happens, you can expect to be tagged with a bill to cover the cost of the work.
The NC bucket-mounted sweeper can be attached to your loader and provides a simple, but highly effective, solution to the problem, allowing you to clean up as you go.
This powerful bucket mounted sweeper provides a material handling bucket that can be converted into a versatile sweeper collector unit. Pick up lugs are welded to the bucket and sweeper connected using a simple `quick attach system`. Sweeping/ collection is recommended in reverse direction. The sweeper can be supplied with brackets to suit various handlers/loaders or fork frame.
The buckets supplied 2.7m wide as standard with hardened wear edge and the sweeper comes with mixed bristles – half polypropylene, half steel, although all polypropylene bristles are available on request.
The sweeper is hydraulically-driven with the hydraulic motor mounted on top of sweeper away from damage.
The drive to the rotor is via a reliable chain drive which has all the added benefit of reducing the machine width and allowing the operator to get close to the wall/kerb than a direct drive machine.
