The ROC series of continuous mergers features a revolutionary pick-up system designed to improve harvesting efficiency while also protecting valuable crops such as lucerne from damage during harvest.
Unlike traditional rotary swathers that ‘drag’ the crop horizontally along the ground to the swath, the range of ROC mergers have a vertical pick-up which lifts the crop onto a conveyor before being deposited out either side of the machine. In light crops it is possible to “bulk” up swaths by placing a swath right next to an existing swath, or if need be, an entire swath can be lifted & discharged next to an existing swath to allow silage choppers or balers to improve their efficiency by making less passes in a paddock.
Hydro-pneumatic suspension provides consistent ground pressure.
